Better Blind Company and Yewdale Bridge for Contract Blinds and Cubicle Tracking

Since 1976, when Yewdale Bridge entered the contract blinds market they have built a reputation for quality products and design integrity. The company’s products are specially designed for use in the most testing of healthcare environments, and are used in many other commercial areas due to their intelligent designs and robust quality.

In 2007, Better Blind Company became an authorised distributor and installer of all Yewdale Bridge branded products.

Today, I’m just going to write a brief summary of each brand. Although in the future I will write a unique article for each product.

DEFIANT Vertical and Roller Blinds

DEFIANT Blinds are available in a variety of fabrics. The fabric types include blackout, dim-out, solar reflective, sun screen and solar film. Many of the fabrics are also fire retardant.

HARRIER Disposable Cubicle Curtains

When hospitals are being assessed, one of the major factors is Infection Control. Of course, any improvement in Infection Control can increase the number of lives saved.

HARRIER Disposable Curtains should become a part of every hospitals Infection Control scheme. The Endurocide treated curtain fabric has been tested against many common bacteria, such as MRSA. the test results are available on request.

In contrast to standard cubicle curtains which have to be periodically boil washed, at 70degrees C minimum, HARRIER Disposable Curtains, are simply disposed of in Clinical Waste and replaced. Since disposable curtains are a fraction of the cost of standard curtains, disposable curtains represent a saving of both time and cost.

Disposable curtains are available in two types – with standard eyelets which hang on all types cubicle curtain hook, and alternatively with the patented Easy-Fit hanging system – the curtain has in built hangers which simply slot into the access point of any existing cubicle track – no need for fiddly hooks and eyelets – a massive time saving!
