The blind itself comes as a single package which includes the motorised blinds, the remote control, and a fully charged battery. The blind is as easy to install as a normal VELUX Blackout Blind, as it is battery operated and there is no wiring required. So it can be fitted within minutes.
Recharged by Solar Power
Batteries for VELUX Remote Control Blackout blinds are now recharged by solar power - so there is no need to change the batteries. Batteries come fully charged and without sun, charged batteries last for approximately 600 operations - which is about a year! The blind can also be operated manually if required.
Easy to Operate
With a smooth battery operated motor concealed behind the fascia, Remote Control VELUX Blackout Blinds can be operated by infra-red remote control (see image above) from anywhere in the room.
