Wipe clean blinds are not only practical, but stylish too. Wipe clean blinds are ideal for steamy environments or places where blinds are likely to get dirty, finger-printed or dusty – like kitchens, class rooms or kids bedrooms!

Fabrics with this image displayed on the fabric page are suitable to be wiped clean, blinds without this image aren’t!

Wipe clean vertical blinds and roller blinds generally have non-absorbent PVC fabrics, for example the Colorado range of fabrics – which have the added advantage of being blackout!

The correct way to wipe clean blinds?

It is very easy to wipe clean aluminium venetian blinds as they have a very smooth surface which the dust doesn’t stick to, so you can simply wipe the slats with a soft cloth. If required you can also wash the blinds using a damp cloth or sponge.

The fabric blinds marked with the ‘wipe clean’ image will be anti-static, this prevents the dust from sticking to the fabric. This enables you to simply wipe the fabric to remove the dust.

Wooden blinds can be wiped clean but it is not the perfect solution, alternatively you could use one of our featured Ostrich Feather Dusters which remove every bit of dust, every time.
