Window Blinds and Part L of the Building Regulations

In October 2010, a new revision of Document L of the Building Regulations came into effect. This document sets targets for CO2 emission rates that new and refurbished buildings must not exceed.
It explains how HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), Light and Solar Shading Specialists must work together so that buildings meet these carbon emissions targets, by limiting solar gain and heat loss through windows.
