In October 1988, Kathryn Pendleton founded the Better Blind Company, aiming to manufacture all types of window blinds. Ten years later, her son Tim Pendleton created NewBlinds.co.uk our online store for The Better Blind Company.

Not only was this a big step for The Better Blind Company, it was also a big step for the blinds industry as NewBlinds.co.uk was the first internet retailer of window blinds.

It’s now approaching 20 years since Kathryn first founded the company and it is still run by Kathryn, her husband Phil and their son Tim. In this time NewBlinds.co.uk has become well established as the UK's biggest, best and most trusted internet window blinds retailer.
