What is Endurocide?
A biodegradable, biocidal silicon which forms an invisible biostatic and biocidal layer on each curtain. Bacteria cannot penetrate this treated surface. Neither can they continue to multiply.
Endurocide has been tested to European Standards EN1276 and EN13717 for :
· Enterococcus hirae
· Escherichia coli
· Listeria moncytogenes
· Pseudomonas aeruginosa
· Staphylococcus aureus
Endurocide has been:
· Tested by UK MRSA Reference Labs
· Found to give a 99.999% reduction in MRSA within 30 seconds
· Proven to remain antimicrobial for 1 year
· Fire retarded to BS5867: part 2 : Type C : 1980.

Harrier Disposable Curtains and Infection Control
One of the most important aspects of the hospital environment is infection Control. It is now a major factor in the assessment of a hospital’s performance - and rightly so, as any improvement in infection control can cause an immediate increase in the number of lives saved. The curtains are manufactured from 100% recyclable polypropylene and are treated with Endurocide anti-bacterial formulation. Endurocide treated fabric has been independently tested against a range of bacteria including MRSA. Track Performance Maintained
Because Harrier Disposable curtains utilise the existing cubicle track’s glider-hooks or roller-hooks, there will be no reduction in performance, and curtains will open and close with exactly the same efficiency as standard curtains. Obviously, roller-hooks such as those fitted as standard on Movatrack cubicle track will perform more effectively with all types of curtain.
The built-in eyelets on Harrier Disposable Curtains will fit almost any existing track system without the need for costly adaptations or track replacement.

Harrier Disposable Curtains are available from stock in an attractive sky-blue colour, with a 2m curtain drop. Each curtain will fit a track length of up to 5.75m, and the curtains may be cut down in both width and drop. They are Flame-Retardant to BS5867 Part 2 1980 Type B.
