Easy to assemble framed insect screens kits are available to buy online in 2 sizes. The kits can easily be trimmed down to suit your window or opening size, or to make more than one frame (for which "extra corners" are required).
As standard, each kit will contain:
- 4 x lengths of aluminium frame - Profile 25mm x 11mm. White powder coated.
- 1 x piece of black fibre glass mesh
- 4 x white plastic corners - To be "push fitted" into the frame profile.
- 1 x length rubber cord - to hold stretched mesh to frame profile.
- 1 x tool - to push rubber cord into frame profile.
- 2 x black plastic handles
- 4 x M1 brackets - continental style (useful only for some outward opening windows)
- Pictoral Instructions included.
Please note, cutting allowances vary according to which accessories are chosen - see instructions.
Framed Insect Screen - Optional Extras:
In addition to the pack contents described above, there are a number of optional "accessories", that can be purchased using the drop down menus above. These are explained in more detail below. Which (if any) of these accessories you require depends on how you would like your insect screen to be fixed to the window.

Extra Corners:
Each set of "extra corners" contains 4 x white corners and 2 x black handles. Each set will enable you to fabricate one additional screen from your framed insect screen kit.
So, for example, if you purchase a 140cm x 150cm kit and wish to use it to fabricate 3 screens, you will need to purchase 2 sets of "extra corners".
The corners require no screws. They are "push fitted" to the frame and are available in white only to match the frame. |

Accessory Pack M3 - Brackets Set:
Each "Bracket Set" contains 4 x white plastic suspension brackets and 8 x screws, to be fitted to the window frame or around the window recess.
Use 2 brackets at the bottom, and 2 brackets at the top of each screen, to "support" the insect screen frame. The insect screen frame can be simply lifted or slid in and out of the brackets. |

Accessory Pack M4 - Hinges and Magnet Set:
Each "Hinges and Magnet Set" contains 2 x white 60mm plastic hinges; 1 x white 45mm magnet; 1 x magnet catch-plate.
Affix 2 hinges to one side, or to the top of the insect screen frame. Affix the magnet catch plate to the opposite side. |

Accessory Pack M7 - Turn-button Set:
Each "Turn-button Set" contains 8 x White plastic turn-buttons (height 11mm) with screws.
Turn-buttons are screwed to the window frame or to the face of the wall around the window recess. 2 turn-buttons are used for each side of the frame. To support or to release the screen, simply twist the turn-buttons.

Spares Available:
We realise that sometimes unfortunate mistakes can occur in cutting and preparing insect screens. In cases of such mishaps, do not dispair! Rubber cord, mesh and other items are available from our "Insect Screens - Spares and Accessories" Section.
