New! Somfy Remote Control Roller and Blackout Blinds

At the Better Blind Company we strive to offer you the latest products and technology from the blinds industry. Just two month,s ago we introduced remote control venetian blinds to our website, and this week we have added a whole new range of remote control blinds!

Our remote control Venetian blinds have been extremely popular so we thought we should add some other blind types that would benefit from motorisation: Roller Blinds and Blackout Blinds.

Both are free hanging roller blinds using different fabrics types. Here are some of the key points:

• Motorised raise and lower using Somfy technology.
• A great selection of fabrics
• All fabrics are fire retardant – apart from Chatsworth.
• Blinds motors are battery operated which are included.
• As with all our blinds, the remote control blinds are made to measure.
• Delivery – Delivered in 7 working days.
• Somfy TV style remote (sold separately)
• Remote has special 'MY' button which stores favourite position.

Remote Control Roller Blinds

We have chosen nine of the most popular fabrics to include in our remote roller collection.

• Dapple fabrics are an SPC fabric, which means they have a special reflective coating that reflects light back out of the window. This reduces solar glare and heat build up caused by the sun. In the summer, this can produce savings on air conditioning bills. In winter, this fabric also helps prevent heat from escaping through your window, giving savings on heating bills – and reducing your carbon foot print.
• Carnival fabrics have an ultra-fresh anti-bacterial coating which makes them perfect for environments where hygiene is paramount.
• Perspective fabrics are neither dim-out nor blackout, they are a screen fabric which means they have an open weave you can almost see through them, and that they have special properties to reduce UV glare.
• Chatsworth are patterned fashion fabrics which look great in most residential environments.

Remote Control Blackout Blinds

In our remote blackout range we decided to use nocturne fabrics as they are a high quality blackout option which is also wipe clean and fire retardant. The colours available are grey, beige and caramel.
