Types of Fly Screen Doors

02/10/2008

We have several different types of fly screen doors, so I thought I’d try and take some time to talk through them, and explain the differences.

“Easy” Mesh Panel Door Insect Screen- £16.13

Our “easy” mesh screens are our most inexpensive range. Easy mesh door screens are lightweight and simple to fit. They can be fitted instantly using a double sided adhesive or screws.
The "Easy" Mesh Panel Insect Screen consists of...
* 3 x Top quality Black fibreglass mesh panels that part easily to walk through.
* Plastic headrail and panel weights.
* Comes with velcro fitting, but can be screw fixed for a more secure fitting.
Maximum Width: 95 cm - Maximum Drop: 220 cm

“Comfort” Mesh Panel Door Insect Screen- £29.91

The comfort range is a slightly more expensive than the easy range, due to it being the best quality mesh panel door insect screen available. The “Comfort” screen is of an extremely high quality and consists of..
* 3 x weighted, top quality black fibreglass mesh panels which part easily to walk-through.
* 1 x high quality two-piece, aluminium headrail system
* Wall brackets and headrail end caps.
Maximum Width: 95 cm  -  Maximum Drop: 220 cm

Chain Link Insect Screens for Doors - from £46!

Aluminium Chain Link Insect Screen Curtains are ideal where hinged-door insect screens and roller insect screens are not practical or desirable, but mesh panel screens are too lightweight. Chain link screens are available in either custom sizes or standard door sizes. There is also a choice of chain colours.

The free-hanging nature of the chain link curtain makes it possible to simply walk through your door opening without the inconvenience of stopping to open and close a hinged or roller insect screen.

Roller Insect Screens for Doors from £51

Our roller insect screens utilize a spring loaded cassette roller system and offer complete protection from flying pests.

For doors, we have three different types of roller fly screen. We have Chain Driven or Spring Loaded for a single door or just spring-loaded If you have a double door. They are also available for windows!

Our Roller Fly Screens comply with all current and proposed European Community regulations - see regulation no. 93/43 EC on hygiene in foodstuff preparation.

Hinged Insect Screen Door - £89.92

Our Hinged Insect Screen doors are our most reliable solution to stopping those pesky flying insects. We believe in the quality of the product so much that we offer a 5 year guarantee on the frame and one year on the mesh.

Here are the main features of our Hinged Insect Screen Doors:

*White powder coated 32mm aluminium door frame profile
*Top quality black fibreglass mesh
*Reinforcing cross-bars and kick plate are included.
*3 x Hinges and 2 x magnet closers and handle included.

I hope the above is a useful summary of our fly screen doors products. They can be purchased online by clicking here. If you have any more questions, please use the form below, or telephone us on 0161 367 9013.
