Perfect Fit Accredited Supplier

Last year we undertook training to become an accredited supplier of Louvolite Perfect Fit blinds for windows and doors, conservatory sides and roofs.

What is the training?

The training package was provided by the designers and manufacturers of the Perfect Fit Blinds system, Louvolite.

It took us through three stages: Measuring, Manufacturing and Installation.

The first stage was measuring. This section took us through a step by step survey method which ensures all windows that need blinds fitting are measured using consistent techniques and procedures. This is especially important when measuring a conservatory or complex glass structure. One of the most surprising aspects of this part of the training was that for shaped conservatory roof blinds, it was not necessary to measure any angles.

Second up was manufacturing. The real key to this stage is a piece of computer software. This software converts the dimensions taken during installation and automatically calculates corner angles. It generates a printed bill of materials which is followed when cutting and assembling the blind and the frame perfectly.

Lastly was the installation stage, we learnt to install the product using Louvolite’s best practices to dictate the procedure. Best of all – No Drilling or Screwing takes place!

What this means for the company?

Once the course was completed we received our Perfect Fit Accredited Badge of Honour:

We received accreditation as a company and each of our manufacturing, surveying and fitting staff has the accredited status.

What this means for the customer?

What this means is that Louvolite have approved us as manufacturers, surveyors and installers of their Perfect fit window blinds..
