Design Tip: Fitting Perfect Fit Blinds "Upside Down"
03/12/2008
It’s been a while since we wrote about design tips and tricks, the last article we wrote was an article about sprucing up your old roller blinds.
Today, I would like to show you a simple yet effective way to create a unique look in your room using our perfect fit blinds - pleated or roller.
Perfect Fit blinds are renowned for their ability to be fitted and removed with ease, but have you ever though about fitting them upside down? Thanks to the way they are constructed you can use them either pulling from the top-down or from the bottom-up. They work perfectly either way.

There are two benefits to this, if you haven’t already guessed:
Style – Normal blinds won’t function if fitted upside down, but as I explained above Perfect Fit Pleated and Roller blinds will, which means you will be able to create a very unique effect that most people won’t have.
Privacy – To stop people looking into your room you would normally have to lower your blinds to cover the entire window, the downside of this is that you will also have to block out the light. With your blinds fitted upside you can block the view into your house while still allowing light to enter through the top of the window.
