Programming Your Techniku Handset
25/06/2009
Congratulations on purchasing a remote control venetian/vertical blind. As well as your blind you should have also purchased a Techniku remote handset. Your handset will be supplied with batteries however it will not instantly control your blind(s) because it needs to be programmed.
Programming your remote is not a complex process whether you have one or multiple blinds, here are some instructions:
If you have one blind:
- Make sure there are batteries in the remote.
- Point the remote at the blind
- Press the one button and then hold either the left or right arrow button
- It will take up to 30 seconds for the blind to respond
- Your remote is now programmed. Whenever you want to operate your blind simply press either the left or right arrow to tilt the slats
If you have multiple blinds:
- Make sure there are batteries in the remote.
- Point the remote at the first blind
- Press the one button and then hold either the left or right arrow button
- It will take up to 30 seconds for the blind to respond
- Your remote is now programmed to one blind, on one channel. To program your second blind simply repeat the process but press the two button. Repeat this until all of your blinds have been programmed.
Now your remote blinds are programmed they will stay programmed for as long as you keep charged batteries inside them. However if the batteries run out and you don't replace them immediately the remote may lose its memory and you will have to go through the programming process again.
