FAQ: Vertical Blinds: Do you sell spare slats or louvres for vertical blinds?

“Do you sell spare slats for vertical blinds..?” This is a question we get asked on a regular basis. The answer is yes, we do - although we do not sell them online. You have to call us or email us for a price, and to purchase.

Buying spare slats (more commonly known as “louvers”) for your vertical blinds is a great way to update the look of your blinds without splashing out on replacement vertical blinds.

In case you are wondering why we don’t sell replacement louvres online.. This is because there are many different headrails on the market, each with different hooks and each requiring different hangers to attach the slat to the headrail.

What we usually suggest is you send us an existing louvre from your blind as a sample and we should be able to match up the hanger, to ensure we provide the right type with your replacement louvers, so they fit your headrail..

To choose a fabric, simply view our vertical blinds section. We can offer replacement slats in any of the fabrics shown.

You can even order free samples, which we aim to dispatch the same day.

We will need to know the “hem-to-hem” measurement of your existing louvre. This is the measurement from the top of the fabric to the bottom of the fabric. It is recommended that when you are measuring this, you lay your louvre out completely flat on a smooth surface like a table or a clean floor.
